Glen Canyon Regional Park

Our work with the Regional District of Central Okanagan in Glen Canyon Regional Park has improved both safety and ecological conditions in this beautiful natural area.

The realignment and replacement of an ageing trail adjacent to Powers Creek was based on the Regional Parks Trail Construction Standards. This was the first project to utilise the Standards, and feedback obtained from the project contractor was used to refine the document. The new trail provides a vastly improved, safer experience for users, and helps to minimize recreational impacts on the adjacent creek by consolidating usage and reducing erosion.
