Mission Creek Viewpoint

With input from Regional District of Central Okanagan staff and members of the Friends of Mission Creek, we completed the conceptual design, construction documents, tender and contract administration for a viewing platform in Scenic Canyon Regional Park.

This included the siting and design of a viewing platform to compliment the surrounding native grassland ecosystem and highlight the views of Mission Creek and Scenic Canyon. The viewpoint features custom-fabricated tiered gabion benches with locally sourced stone and wood, along with native plantings and interpretive signage, while improvements to the adjacent greenway section include guardrails, crib stairs, and a bicycle stair track.
